this has been presented before and dismissed. MODERN humans aka the clovis people arrived 12800 to 13300 years ago. Prior to that we have no settlements, no tools, no arrowheads, only broken mammoth bones.

So if there were humans prior to the clovis people moving to the continent they went extinct before the clovis arrived and they were likely a different species of human. Such as homo habilis or homo floresiensis

If it were a different hominid then where are the skeletal remains from them? It is illogical to dismiss homosapiens for lack of evidence and suggest a different species with no evidence.

we dont have a single skeletal remain from before 13,200 years ago in the americas homo sapien or otherwise. it is much more common to find evidence of humans instead of the actual remains. See the posted article where they use broken mammoth bones as evidence of human presence.

Evidence of the clovis people is mostly the result of the iconic spear tips.

if humans were around for 37 thousand years and these people were the direct Ancestors of modern American Indians they would have had sufficient IQ to be using sophisticated tools and those tools would be in the fossil record.

We have more advanced technology than cavemen yet no real evidence that we are smarter. Tools are a technology, and technology spreads. It is not intrinsically linked to an IQ. Cultures evolve faster than species. So using that as a basis of speciation is silly.
