The more distant people are to each other the less ethnocentric. That's probably one of the big reasons behind Whites being less ethnocentric than the lower races. The pressure from (((the media))) and (((education))) to go to college out-of-state is absolutely put there to break up local community cohesion and weaken local cultures. Those kids fall in love with someone on the other side of the country, and boom. Whatever towns they came from just got brain drain. Next that couple is put under pressure to find a "career", which means moving to a city.
