You know, I was praying three or more times a day, always saying good prayers, not praying for myself, but only praying for the benefit of other's, knowledge of God's Will for me, and the power to carry it out.
And I have to say, it is true, prayer works. My life got better, my attitude got better, my Mom's health got better.
And of course, this made me really suspicious. God just bestows his bounty upon those who ask for it? Why does he want me to pray to him? What exactly does he get out of it? Something about this whole situation doesn't add up to me.
I feel like I am being lied to, on a cosmic level. It all feels like a "good cop, bad cop" scenario, where you get so beaten down by life (Satan), that you are driven to prayer (God), and then he magically takes away all your problems as long as you confess you Sins and talk to him, and most importantly, submit to him.
Something about the whole arrangement strikes me as off. That's all.
I don't pray often. Mostly in times of duress. However I do speak to God as if he is standing there. I speak to him and he speaks to me.
As far as prayer working, yes it does. However most people have it wrong as to what is happening. Everyone has the ability to create their own reality. Thought creates reality. This is a fundamental law. All of our thoughts creates a collective reality. If you wish a desired outcome, you must perceive it as truth or able to come true. The stronger your belief the higher the chance of outcome. We are created in the image of God. We are his temple. We all have the ability to create reality. This is why they spend so many resources controlling our reality and putting predictive programming into our media. The subconscious is where this ability lies. Even if you don't understand the symbols your subconscious does. Learn to control this and you learn to control your reality. The double slit experiment proves reality is created by consciousness. Basically you control your reality. Prayer is for when you truly need divine assistance. Outside that speak with God daily. Build a friendship or relationship with him. He's a part of you. He created a covenant with our ancestors. Get to know him. Walk with him. Her is there. He will speak back to you. That voice in your head or that feeling in your heart. That is God speaking to you. Learn to listen.
The stronger your belief the higher the chance of outcome.

It was mine for the longest time. I have only recently, within the last year or two, learned to actually embrace this. Remember, even faith/belief the size of a mustard seed can move mountains.
I never realized all the truth. When I think hard and deep I realize that somehow I always had a deep belief that everything was going to work out. Without knowing it I placed myself where I am today. I lived a pretty screwed up life. Read back through my posts. Not one word of my life story is a lie. I find lying to be pointless and a waste of energy. I still wound up where I am. I'm in a comfortable spot. I'm exactly where God needed me in his grand plans. Learn to trust in God. That begins with actually speaking to him. If you need to envision him somewhere look north. I could tell you why but I'm not sure you are ready for that info. It has to do with the black hole sun. Speak with him like he's walking next to you, because he is. Learn to listen to him. Reflect on your life. Try to see the pattern that lead you to where you currently are. Try to see how you were guided to safety. Try to find where he was in those times. If you look you will find him. Pray to be given eyes to see. You will see. I promise.

I'm rereading these. You need to remember, God wants us to seek him out. If you ask you will receive. When you pray, pray for eyes to see.
