For me, something like this is more of interest because, while the Zero's form factor is enticing, it's kind of wimpy. A little more space nets an exponential rise in the amount of processing power available. I also realize the Zero isn't really designed towards heavy computing tasks, but it would be nice to have something in that form factor with a few GB of RAM and a couple of cores.

Imoho, it's value is the gpio addons. Like sata or NAS hats. This variant opens many possibilities because of cpu and ram. Am assuming excludes many types of hats. But it does open the door for small scale clustered services and dev.
