I think the following is a good explanation of the forbidden fruit story. It should be said that many of these talking points are not my own and are from the owner of the Relic of Truth channel on jewTube. Essentially, it could be argued that Eve race mixed with satan and created Cain and therefore Kenites and Canaanites. Genesis 4:1 Contradicts this, however, Genesis 4:1 also contradicts the statements of Christ, the Apostles and a few other parts of the Bible. To me, this indicates a translation error. If Genesis 4:1 is not corrupted, there is another interpretation: "And Adam knew Eve his wife [after the serpent already knew her (Genesis 3)]; and she conceived, and bare Cain". Perhaps Adam and Eve didn't know who Cain's real father was and Eve thought that Adam was his father -> "and [she] said, I have gotten a man from Yahweh."
- John 3:10-12 "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous."
Adam and Eve had only one command from God: "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it." (Genesis 2:16-17). The trees representing races/peoples like in Ezekiel 31:3-9; Isaiah 61:3; Matthew 12:33-35. And the word "eat" (hebrew "akal") is a euphemism for sexual intercourse, like in Proverbs 30:20 "Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth [akal], and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness."
Since Genesis 3:15 we live in eternal enmity with the children of the devil: "And I will put enmity between thee [Satan] and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
Also, in the protoevangialism of James, there is a passage indicating how early Christians thought in the 2nd century. This book was not written by James but, it still presents a valid argument for the aforementioned reason.
Protoevangelium of James 13:1-5 "In the sixth month of her pregnancy, Joseph came from his house-building and went into the house to find her swelling. And he struck his face and threw himself on the ground in sackcloth and wept bitterly, "How can I look to the Lord God? What will I pray about her, for I took her as a virgin from the temple of the Lord and did not guard her? Who has set this trap for me? Who did this evil in my house? Who stole the virgin from me and defiled her. Has not the story of Adam been repeated with me? For while Adam was glorifying God, the serpent came and found Eve alone and deceived her and defiled her - so it has also happened to me."
