This is because Adam is of God, and Eve is of Adam. He is the “head of the house” and was responsible for her. He left her alone and she was beguiled; then decided to double down on the sin (perhaps fear of loneliness?) and did eat also.

Biblically it seems that trees often refer to men, and the fruit is representing their thoughts and deeds/actions; which also seems to reflect to the much later mentioned mark of the beast being in ones forehead or hand.

Exactly! "He left her alone" - he was not doing his job of protecting Eve, and therefore let Satan into the garden. Arguably, it is Adam who sinned first by not fulfilling his manly responsibilities.

this is also why one of the common sins of women is to attempt to dominate her husband. and also why a common sin of husbands is to wimp out and not take the lead.
