~5 Billion autopilot miles as of a year ago.

In Tesla’s second vehicle safety report for Q2, 2021, Tesla stated:

“In the 2nd quarter, we recorded one crash for every 4.41 million miles driven in which drivers were using Autopilot technology (Autosteer and active safety features). For drivers who were not using Autopilot technology (no Autosteer and active safety features), we recorded one crash for every 1.2 million miles driven. By comparison, NHTSA’s most recent data shows that in the United States there is an automobile crash every 484,000 miles.”

1 to 4,100,000 vs 1 to 484,000

I'd prefer data that is not self-reported but ok.

I do believe that autopilot is better than people, though, especially given that the person is supposed to be at, and there are certain measures to keep them at, the wheel. Normally all you have to do to avoid a crash is hit the brake, which the computer is probably already doing anyways.

I trust tesla autopilot 1000% more than niggers driving.

Were all those test miles on well marked freeways? I watched one being tested in a busy city with tons of construction and jaywalking etc and it wasn't good.

You do realize the way it works is based on an algorithm that makes it less likely to crash the more it's driven, right?
