Walked to purchase washer and dryer. First thing I say is I want it delivered and installed.

Should be easy , right ? Nope , after 45 agonizing minutes , multiple calls for manager , etc
finally all set . Nope , I see it says outside delivery. I said , " I wanted that inside delivery installed " First thing I said.

She's explaining why it won't let her do that. I said , thanks for wasting 45 minutes of my time for nothing , and told her to cancel my order.

If you want buy-it-for-life quality, find a commercial SpeedQueen dealer (commercial I can't stress this enough) and get the simple well-built (expensive) models that don't break.

May have to figure out install on your own, but distributor may offer indoor delivery & services, maybe haul-away of old units.

I don’t own one, but I can second that SpeedQueen is good stuff. There was an appliance place in my town that closed up (retired) but they did great repair work. The owner/repairman only would recommend SpeedQueens because they use better parts in them.
