I think that it would usually only makes sense if it came in use with an accusatory question or tone. That is most likely when the racist oppressive white people used it, right? "Where you think you are going boy?" "Boy, were you looking at that white girl?" "Damn, this boy has a mouth on him, doesn't he?" "Who do you think you are boy?" Racist cracker ass crackers.

More Jewish revisionism. It's actually a southern thing. "Boy" is casually used in many situation. It's commonly used when speaking to the young. It's also used to express social rank or familiarity. It's very informal.

As blacks frequently think and behave like children they were frequently called "boy." It referenced both their mental capacity and low social rank. It was never exclusively applied to non-whites. Which means it's not a racial word.

i called someone a dude once as a slang like term and the chick got very upset. i was like dude, chill, its a phrase
