I wracked my brain last night trying to think why. I came up with 3 scenarios. 1st, as the video claims, stale chips you just wanna use up. 2nd, the flavor of the particular chips is something you want translated into mashed potatoes which would be difficult or impossible otherwise. 3rd, college or VERY low income who shop at food pantries, dollar stores, or otherwise have no access to pouched or fresh potatoes but can get access to chips of some form. I never claimed I'd eat this myself. Just thought it was an interesting concept I'd share.
