Ill stick with potatoes. I do not need all the garbage in pringles to make mashed potatoes.

Use real @Yukon instead of /s/goyslop
I will. Worst case, I use the freeze dried packets. Just blew my mind that people COULD do it. Figured they were too processed and oily**
Stay healthy, brother.
It’s easy to make some delicious and healthy mash with real potatoes.
Add sour cream, butter, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, fresh ground peppercorn, thinly chopped chives and one crushed garlic clove
Oh no argument. Way cheaper too. But when your camping or in a rush, those packets can be handy. Camping especially. Freeze dried stuff in general is awesome for it
Pringles rice flour and corn flour taste would be odd in mash. Odd to do that unless you find it priced lower than the mash mix or chips which I don't know if it is priced less.
One of the comments mentioned that a flavor of Pringles like loaded back potato or sour cream and onion would make really good mashed potatoes. Im not buying it, but I guess that's a selling point
Like eating someone's pre-masticated Pringles. I'd not try it.
I had someone tell me they used to make mashed potatoes from scratch when they were still poor and now they used boxed mashed potatoes.
Talk about one of the dumbest fucking things I've ever heard. It was too much for me to take in and comment on.
I won't deny that the bagged freeze dried ones can be tasty. It's a time thing for most people, I think. Heat water to boil, add to flakes, 60 seconds for mash
I mean i guess but mashed potatoes don't really take any longer than your average meal to prepare. Add some milk, sour cream, butter, salt to taste. Some chicken/beef hybrid gravy, even better than the KFC is old days.
Not entirely sure why you'd want to.
^ this.
Aside from the fact that they utilize GMO potatoes, why waste the time and energy required to cook them when you could just eat them out of the can? And do they still contain that fake fat Olestra? Truly Pringles must be amongst the sloppest of goyslop - even the name sounds jewed.
I wracked my brain last night trying to think why. I came up with 3 scenarios. 1st, as the video claims, stale chips you just wanna use up. 2nd, the flavor of the particular chips is something you want translated into mashed potatoes which would be difficult or impossible otherwise. 3rd, college or VERY low income who shop at food pantries, dollar stores, or otherwise have no access to pouched or fresh potatoes but can get access to chips of some form.
I never claimed I'd eat this myself. Just thought it was an interesting concept I'd share.
I can think of one other scenario: College students living in a spartan dorm, baked on weed, get the munchies and decide to play Iron Chef with a microwave. Actually this is the most plausible one!
Hey, it wasn't for weed, Jack In the Box would've gone under in the 90s
More like mashed potato product.....
Why? That is fucking disgusting.
Mashed potatoes are easy to season. Lots of options available. You don't need a lot.
Serving size is another issue. I usually eat a pretty large helping of any kind of potatoes I eat. I imagine if I did this I would be eating almost a full can of pringles in one sitting. No thank you...
