Apparently, it's from an IoT device maker that doesn't anymore. I've ordered two just because they're cheap enough to play with, and supposedly they come with the IoT maker's software preloaded and still active. YMMV there...

Search on "Iconikal Rockchip RK3328 4K 60P Single Board Computer A53 64-Bit Processor, 1GB 1866MHz LPDDR3 RAM, USB 3.0" and you'll find it. $15.99 at the time of this post. I'm not posting the link directly because Amazon.

Resources, because I should have put those here first:

It's more or less a Pine64 Rock64 board.

There's an Ambian build for it: https://www.armbian.com/rock64/

Here's the mfg page: https://www.pine64.org/devices/single-board-computers/rock64/

It's supposedly a Recon Sentinel device: https://www.reconsentinel.com/

One of the things I should point out is that Pine64 stuff has weird issues with the HDMI port. Don't buy one of these expecting a device with a monitor.

That sounds good, I know I could use any linux image as long as it had an aarch64 arch available, the boot process would be of more concern since it's not standardized like on a PC

That portion of the system is not really something I've delved into. I've generally stuck with pre-built things. The workings of the kernel and whatnot seem to escape me more the older I get.
