It happens for many reasons

A. Substance abuse

B. Not living up to your potential

C. Seasonal weather

Depression is ok, and men should embrace it. It puts things into focus. Why are you depressed? That one question is why we get into that state and the trick is to focus to improve it and solve it.

When it comes to seasonal depression take vitamins, with substances, drink less coffee and drink less. As for not living it up? In my experience the answer comes down to finances. We are spending too much money on stupid shit.

I am depressed about something I hate but I belive is necessary, so there is no need to fix it. I guess I just have to learn to love Satan.

No. I literally meant Satan. How can we know that we are good without knowing what is bad? The adversary is necessary, but I don't like it.

Work out ! I was very depressed as a young man. Working out causes endorphins to kick in which helps combat depression

No, depression is not ok. It’s just like a fever in the body, there is a sickness, it must be eliminated. Your body reacts to fight it. Depression is a fever of the mind, you need to react and fight it. Most people are not depressed. So, something is wrong with you. It’s not your fault. You need to recognize that you are depressed. Stop blaming others. It’s you, not them. Take control, eat well, sleep well, exercise. Start and end your day on your own terms. Stop blaming other people for what happens to you.
