That's why you go dutch for a while. This is much more common than they are admitting. Many women do this all the time to save thousands a year one food and to be able to live well beyond their means. Hell also make it a rule to have a cell phone off at all times during a date. That should be simple. If she has a bunch of kids then why the hell are you dating her and if she has a super busy social life take the hint you're just a blip on the radar the first date. If she can't do no phone call dating then she is not the girl for you.
Your suggestion might've worked ten years ago to varying effect, but that would be an immediate fail today unless you were a guy scoring ten in all the rankings.
So you would be suckered for the food whore then you're saying?
> No. Anyone that talks on a cell during a date, or is surfing the net, is a fail. You're either there at the date, or not. You should not pay for a meal for someone whom you just met through a dating site. The date is an interview and you shouldn't expect the interviewer for a job to pay for the interviewees meal.

/FTFY
Oddly enough, I've never used dating sites or apps to score a date. I find technologies influence upon human behavior to be an interesting thing to scrutinize and observe. Like you, I agree that there are more females who date only to get a free meal, but I'm pessimistic enough to say that it's likely four quarters at the least. That one-third are confident enough in their actions that they've no fear in admitting that they exploit thirsty men for a meal is very telling as that's an indicator of a sociopath as it also highlights a growing psychosis among men in regards to dating. That's a dangerous situation for those who don't see it. I'd rather play with a truck full of nitro on a bumpy road.
No, but anyone that talks on a cell during a date or is surfing the net is a fail. You either are there at the date or not. You should not expect me that just met you in real life if a dating site to pay for a meal. The date is like and interview and you don't expect the interviewer for a job to pay for a meal, you're also an interviewer so I expect the same.
