For the remaining 8 hours of the flight
Isn't it SOP to immediately reroute to the nearest airport when a passenger has an emergency? Article doesn't say where they were flying from but if they were headed to UK and landed in Germany, it would seem to be likely there were at least a few closer alternatives to land rather than fly another 8 hours to Germany. And they left her strapped in the seat next to her family the whole time? WTF
Strange brew. They should have moved her to the cargo hold in a body bag.
Commercial airliners are packed tightly. Even if they had a space in the cargo large enough to stuff her in moving a body around during a flight full of people could have been an embarrassing mess. Better to let her sit still where she is.
Is being dead an emergency?
