Tonight, as proposed by and , we will pray for courage and patience and discipline.

I know that I often fall short in all of those categories, falsely mistaking bravado for courage, complacency for patience, and sticking to a schedule for discipline.

Many times we all have strange expectations of what reality should be, and find ourselves sorely disappointed when we find out what reality actually is.

This world is absolutely magical, but we cannot control it. In that spirit, here is the Serenity Prayer:

God, Grant us the Serenity, To accept the things we cannot change, The Courage, To change the things we can And The Wisdom To know the difference

Additionally, please feel free to revisit the prayers we had in previous weeks.

  • and his employment situation. Pray the homie finds a nice, lucrative new form of employment.

-Angelina's (friend of mine) grandniece who was shot on the 7th. She is still in the hostpital to the last of my understanding. Pray for her healthy and expeditious recovery.

I am about to undergo one of the biggest changes in my life. It could end well, but there is also a thousands different ways it could end badly too.

I am worried, but I won't back down. I believe in the power of prayer and I have witnessed it work. I would appreciate if Poalrs would pray for my protection.

  • / Smedley - Pray for his mental fortitude against anxiety attacks

Also, please throw in a prayer for and his family, and their health, as he is a good guy, and none of us would be here without him.

Looking forward to the prayers.

Theo, thanks for coming back and doing this, I have been thinking about you and hoping that you find happiness.

Remember, YOU are made in the image of God. That doesn't mean our bodies, it means the souls that are in the drivers seat of these temporary bodies. Through that soul, you are directly connected to God. Feel the love that connects you; live in that love. Anything that makes you feel fear(or any degree of it like anger) is altering your frequency and misaligning it to the love that is God. Don't allow things you see to make you disconnect from God. That is what is meant by turning the other cheek.

Holding onto anger is a poison that only affects you, which is why forgiveness is divine. More importantly than forgiving others, is to forgive yourself. Since forgiveness is divine, be divine to yourself, which is in alignment with the saying "above all, to thine own self be true".

I hope you are able to refind that connection to God that children are born with, and can go back to just feeling happy for no Earthly reason other than you are connected to God and feel his love.

I pray that you find this in yourself again and regain the happiness that is yours.
