I am disappointed Trump promoted the vaccine in 2021, or at any time for that matter. I actually wasn't aware that Trump ever came out and recommended the vax. BigPharma, ClubMed, Social Media and (((MSM))) clamped down on everyone that disagreed with the official narrative on covid 2020-2023. The only Trump promotion I was aware of prior to the videos you dumped on me today was (generally paraphrased) Trump saying "it is safe and effective and will be made available to everyone who wants it", along with Trump taking credit for initiating Operation Warpspeed such that US gov could collaborate with and supercharge BigPharma/ClubMed/CDC/NIH to create the vax in record time to save humanity.
I am very disappointed Trump promoted the vax a few times, however in the first year all news of deaths and abnormal reactions were immediately cleansed from msm news and social media and people canceled. Only alt-news were reporting on the deaths and side effects. I can understand Trump believing as he was told that it was safe and effective in 2021, the first year it was released. After that, not so much.
Does this change my overall opinion of Trump? No.

Acceleration was the whole purpose of Operation Warpspeed. Sure, Trump knows about normal vaccine trials. The "experts" said they could create the vax much faster with nearly the same confidence at a time the world feared a covid pandemic and demanded a cure. Thus Operation Warpspeed was born.
Pence was Trump's point man for Operation Warpspeed. All info came through Pence to Trump. Was Pence lying too or just reporting to Trump on what the (((experts))) told him? IDK. An accellerated trials/verification process was agreed upon by the BigPharma/ClubMed "experts".
