What they worship isn't science but leftist ideology promoted by people pretending to be scientists. The whole business is corrupt beyond belief and most published "scientific" papers are frauds supported by and referring to other papers that are just as fraudulent. The issue with this meme is the simple fact we are NOT all one species if the rules applied to all other creatures was applied to "people". It's hotly denied but your eyes, ears, and nose knows better.
It's called scientism. It's their religion. It's became part of the identity of self. To attack it is to attack their own concept of self. Cognitive dissonance is painful. As most Democrats never mentality/psychologically matured past high school, they have no means of coping aside from crying or attacking.

Comment is based on a study I read years ago that brain maturity never advances past puberty. Meaning, no adult brain.
Human brain develops considerably through high school. For most is fully matured between the ages of 21-25. For leftists, their brain never leaves pubescent maturity.
It's true to say, even speaking with leftists, you are engaged with a child stuck in an adult's body.
