TLDR; He won't tip if he orders standing up (fast casual, fast food, etc). To a degree it makes sense. I typically only tip somewhere like that if its a holiday and they are super busy since working days like that kind of suck.

These lazy pieces of shit all bitch and moan about wanting tips for doing fuck all. Then there's guys like me that work at an auto parts store putting batteries in cars and fixing other stupid shit (that would commonly be charged an hour of labor in any shop) and i'm lucky if I even get a goddamn thank you, let alone a tip.

I do my auto work but if I had someone replace my battery for me at a auto parts store I would absolutely give them a tip. I could be out of town or not have tools or something and be in a rush. Not having to buy/borrow tools and having someone do it for me in 5 minutes is worth a little extra in my mind.
