Cool. Any alternatives to Firefox that's as well supported?
I have Waterfox is basically like firefox. Opera is a mainstream alternative to firefox. Operagx with free unlimited vpn and epic browser. Comodo also has browsers based on mainstream ones.
I was A Firefox user and I'll suggest two Firefox based alternatives : IceCat and Waterfox. I use both in place of Firefox.
I use Waterfox on windows because it is well maintained and updated monthly. In Linux and Android I use IceCat. You can obtain this with F-Droid on Android.
On windows I am beginning to favor Ungoogled Chromium but managing extensions for this is a pain as Google tries to keep that out of the Chrome web store.
All of these I mention are said not to, "phone home," to Google or Firefox having removed the spying bits.
Use a user agent spoofer. Makes websites think you're using a different browser.
Been with Brave a couple of years now- no complaints. One thing I would advise new Brave users to be aware of is the Crypto wallets/rewards. If you are not interested in that, make sure to turn off all crypto/rewards options in the settings.
Any browser that is well supported means there is money behind it. If there is money behind it, it will be part of corporate feudal society or the kleptocracy.
Grab Fennec fox from fdroid on android phone. Its a de-shilled Firefox. Gonna have to figure where to move to on PC.
