You might as well say > hey weve been going after murderers and putting them in jail and theres always more of them, I guess we should give up the war on murderers. We could eliminate 99% of drugs in 6 months. Punish all drug possession with at least 10 years prison no parole. People have no will to do that . People choose drugs. But there will always be the need to regulate and punish use of psychotropic abusive substances. That is the job of every society, because drugs can destroy societies. Drug use is everybody’s problem. It is a vice that needs constant attention like every other crime. They problem will never completely go away. Same with commie ideologies and other harmful ideologies. Same with other competing society’s that threaten our society. Only a baby thinks these problems to be solved— they never can be, yet they must always be fought.
