Castle Doctrine protects you from liability by making it clear that you have no obligation to retreat or flee. If defending your person or property puts you in imminent fear of serious bodily injury or death, then you can defend yourself, regardless of your ability to get away.
How were they not in fear of imminent injury? There was 50 people there that broke through their gate. I'm asking, not being a smart ass. I need to look into the law side of this stuff.
