Since most households need two incomes it can also be so the father gets bonding time after the wife has recovered and has to return to work, before the kid is dumped into the fulltime childcare/school pipeline. But you're right if there was no reason for one of them to stay home from work the one that is a damned cabinet position level person should not be neglecting an entire country while the kid is that tiny. On the books he makes 221k/year they don't need a second income and most of what his husband does can be done remotely. The idea that you get a kid and there isn't a trade off is absurd, but that trade off shouldn't be the whole country's supply line tanks to shit because you can't step in and override California's emissions standards for interfering with interstate commerce because you're at home watching Spongebob.

Yep, I think the Father's role steps up when the child begins experiencing the world, basic care is best handled by the woman while the Father provides security.

Really, I'd say you're a loser if your employer gives you a benefit and you don't take advantage of it. Also, the problem isn't paternity leave. It's the fact that his job isn't getting done. He had time (and almost certainly the budget) for a replacement while he was out. His inability to properly delegate is the problem. Just like the new four star fagmiral, his only qualification is being an aids super spreader.

Also, how did two faggots get to jump the adoption line. I've know good wholesome families (two guys who have relations are not a family) who have waited years for an adoption.
