It doesn't matter if it's legal in your state when it comes to commercial drivers license because its federally regulated. A lot of guys are getting popped for CBD oil from what I hear. If you work for a company, you'll be piss or hair tested during hiring. Then companies have to test some percentage of their drivers randomly each year. And by random, I mean you could be out on the road 18 hours from the terminal and they'll call you and give you and address to go take a drug test at.
Drivers won't be allowed to smoke until they can test if you're high at the time.
I'd smoke too but it isn't worth losing my career. If you get in an accident with it in your system, you don't just get fired, you go to jail.
