Sadly though the last paragraph of the opinion sounds very absolute and what many people will quote, there is a part I have found that is an obvious loophole on page 47 section 6 of the opinon that reads. link here to original pdf. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/23863999-20-1199_hgdj

At the same time, as all parties agree, nothing in this opinion should be construed as prohibiting universities from considering an applicant’s discussion of how race af- fected his or her life, be it through discrimination, inspira- tion, or otherwise. See, e.g., 4 App. in No. 21–707, at 1725– 1726, 1741; Tr. of Oral Arg. in No. 20–1199, at 10

So it sounds to me that the college can't say we need x number of blacks, but if a student says "I suffered because I am black" that suffering can be used as something the college can still consider.

This is still a win, but the dems will figure this out and continue what they are doing. The same way they call DEI and ESG two different things when they are really the same thing when one gets banned.
