Those are not specifics... This article has my heart strings meter going off with no law or similar policy change to show as proof. Something like this is a no win for whom ever would try to pass it. Here is the CBO position document for 2024. https://www.cbo.gov/budget-options/58631 Instead of your payment being based only on your level of disability, it will now be means tested as well.
From that document, "The income threshold below which veterans would receive full benefits in 2024 would be set at $125,000. "
Not exactly putting people out on the street. Again, the video and reality are at odds with me.
It is not about putting people on the streets, it is about fairly compensating them for their injury. If you are injured in any other occupation, is there a means test for compensation?
