The home in the video is the House of Menander, one of the nicest homes in the city. It's unknown to whom this house belonged, but it's thought to have been a relative of Emperor Nero, possibly as a vacation home. No commoners occupied this house except as servants.
The plebian class lived in insulae, usually small apartments that had no sanitation or amenities.
Yup. This is like pointing at the ruins of Mar-a-Lago in a couple millennia and opining at how opulently people lived "back then".
It's not to say that a plebian couldn't have a nice home, but it wasn't going to be in a city.
