Mmmmm... No. There was never a push to create a vaccine against the common cold, for obvious reasons. It mutates too quickly. The flu vaccine is laughably ineffective, at least some years; but influenza is not a coronavirus, it's a different sort of virus. There have been problems developing vaccines against other diseases caused by coronavirus, though. SARS is the most notable. Those vaccines had severe, potentially lethal side-effects. But the stupidity in this meme just glossed over all that. Thanks.
