your "option" of an electric car (yes im aware that this applies to all modern combustible cars as well), means that you are plugged into the internet of things and once they introduce social credit score here, they will be able to turn off your car for not meeting the requirements. maybe they find out you post on poal and they dont like that..... so be careful what you wish for.
