On the box of masks they sell in my town, it says that the masks don't protect the lungs of the respiratory tracks. They will not even protect you from dust. And the shop sells those as confort masks, because they know they don't protect from anything and they don't want to get sued.
N95 masks will block out 95% of conceivably every kind of particle of .3 microns or larger. They will protect you from dust. They simple have to say that because kike lawyers will not allow them to claim otherwise with out paying kike insurers to underwrite that claim which means more expensive testing and redesign to satisfy kikes. Trust me, an n95 is going to protect your respiratory tract from all kinds of stuffl like viruses and dust and pollen. It will screen out MOST of it.
Standard surgical masks will block out alot less. Especially if they have no seal on the side. But they will block SOME larger particles. If you are wearing a standard mask with open sides, it may block some of the larger saliva droplets that have high numbers of virions from being inhaled. Smaller droplets with low numbers of virions will go through the mask. This might have an effect of lessing the severity of the disease (lower inoculum at exposure = lesser severity, usually). On the other hand, it might give people a false sense of security to spend a long period of time in an enclosed space with an infectious person.
I was talking about surgical mask; sorry for not mentioning it. If I wear glasses with a mask, they are all foggy; it looks like almost everything goes around the mask and not through it.
If people were really worried about the virus they would be wearing goggles. Undoubtedly the virus is sometimes getting in through the eyes. Their fixation on masks is irrational and not consistent. I also think its spread in public bathrooms when someone with covid shits flushes and a fine mist of covid and shit flies into the air and is inhaled by everyone who enters the bathroom for the next hour. But they don’t care.
My dad is elderly. He complained alot about wearing the mask in stores because he would get winded from the lack of oxygen. I would say ‘fuck it, take the mask off unless they harrass you’. But he wanted to be a good little mask wearer. Then he passed out from lack of O2 and ended up in the ER. He could have caught covid in the filthy ER! Luckily he didn’t. One example of wear masks dont work.
There needs to be a rational non-political approach to masks which I think can be useful in some situations. But there is no constructive guidance for the idiot masses on when and how masks can help and what their limitations are. Because they are not pushing it as an epidemiological tool — they are pushing it as religious garb. No mask = burn the witch! They are hysterical irrational fanatics at this point.
