That sums it up nicely. If you are anyone but a white and say you care the most about your people you are praised. We know how the opposite goes....
Whites have every right to a tribal identity. I think the real problem occurred when whites stopped identifying with their ethnic roots in a patrilineal line.
For example, paternal grandfather German, grandmother Dutch, father married someone of French descent. Grandson should only be German tribal identity. Not say I'm part German part Dutch & part French. The French descent mother having married a German descent guy should subordinate French to German in that case. That way the child only says he's German but has Dutch or French in the family line.
This way there would be a strong tribal identity.
Just my opinion.
That might work, but if you tell me your father's side is from my country and your mother's side if from Greece and Portugal then you do not qualify.
The person shouldn't even really take about the Greece and Portugal. Just straight identify with the father's line.
That's how most societies that are tribal operate. Medical time most populations when they took brides from friendly, or enemy tribes never called their children as mixed. Pretty sure it was that way with in older times with natives and Europeans, others as well.
