I don't see why people aren't doing this regardless. People make too many excuses. Just find an emerging industry, get your feet wet, find a way to be your own boss and make the move. It really isn't as difficult as many people say.

More gibsmedat mentality. People are afraid to take chances and would rather someone else take the chance and give the payoff to them so they are not exposed to risk.

This is the big issue with the wage slave mindset. Too many are afraid to take the big risks, but they fail to realize that the upward mobility tricks are littered around the minefields of risks that are emerging industries. It's not that difficult to take a few shots and hit gold... trust me.
