The philosophy of "live for the moment" that is expressed in this cartoon is why we have fathers of families with no savings and tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt that they can barely meet the interest on every month. Ben Franklin was right when it comes to sayings -- neither a lender nor a borrower be.

100% agreed. However. No one got rich from a savings account. That being said, yes. It takes a bit of time but imo its all about how you spend your 20s and 30s. Those are the precious years. Dont waste them. I feel it takes a combination of education, savings, and investments made.

I beg to differ. If I hadn't saved hard in my 20's and 30's I would never have had enough for a down payment on a house, and now I have enough money that if I were to lose my job I could "coast" on savings for 4 years. If things were still bad after that I could sell my house and walk away with $450,000. I never even worry about an emergency expense for a moment. I don't have any money worries to speak of. That, in my mind, is rich.

Nicely put. Everyones ride on this thing we call life is experienced differently. Results may vary?

The jew despises the saving and thrift of whites. (((Madison Avenue))) was designed to prevent these.

People on here mindlessly upvoting. What's the message of this cartoon? Don't save, spend all your money?
