100% agreed. However. No one got rich from a savings account. That being said, yes. It takes a bit of time but imo its all about how you spend your 20s and 30s. Those are the precious years. Dont waste them. I feel it takes a combination of education, savings, and investments made.

I beg to differ. If I hadn't saved hard in my 20's and 30's I would never have had enough for a down payment on a house, and now I have enough money that if I were to lose my job I could "coast" on savings for 4 years. If things were still bad after that I could sell my house and walk away with $450,000. I never even worry about an emergency expense for a moment. I don't have any money worries to speak of. That, in my mind, is rich.
