Just common sense. If you can't figure out that it's easier to make electricity than it is to pump crude oil and refine it, there's not much that can be done to help you.

Yes, everything wears out with time. You don't need a battery to charge from solar panels, but you will need an inverter. Those are likely to break every 10 years or so. Can you store 10 years worth of gas in the same space you can store an inverter? I'll need about 6,000 gallons.

It's very difficult to contort and twist the logic to make it seem like putting 5 solar panels on a pole is easier than getting yourself a drilling rig, a tanker ship, and a refinery to make gas. It takes a lot of jewiness. LOL.

Equating creating an inverter + solar panel + battery + wires + all the sw with "fuel" is ...... yeah, fake (not to mention that also gas is a "fuel" and gas engines are really simple and gas has been around for ages) (can create gas from manure fermentation)
Your other statement on inverter reliability is also out of touch with reality (I.e. fake) , meaning that it is just quoting the MTBF of the inverter, real live also adds lightning, wind, hails and simply clouds. They all have a role in solar panels energy distruption
