Costa Rica has heavy duty immigration laws. Unless they had huge money to buy land, Costa Rica has a 6 month stay limitation where the non citizen has to leave for 2 weeks. Unless this has changed. I had looked at that a long time ago and found that Panama was a far more ideal place to escape the NWO. Panama has a few special sectors where investments as low as $40k would get you residential status and no stay limitations. I had considered becoming a Teak tree farmer.
