It fucks up the search function like someone else pointed out. If any grabbed title happens to have "indeed" in it it will be drowned out by his posts.
I enjoyed watching people get angry at the meme account at first, but the novelty has worn off.
I pointed out the search functionality problem and the content sliding just a few days after the bot began flooding Poal. I got some backlash from other Poalrs over it. Most said "it's just harmless fun" or "block them if you don't like it". Now the bot has been here for 1.5 months and Poal has simply adjusted to it without concern. This acceptance and lack of concern is how forums degrade when spammers and bots take over. At least Voat had an immune system that would drive off shit like this.
The mods may be in on it.
He’s not a bot. I had a couple comment conversation with him when the account was only a few days old. Since then he’s deleted those comments and stuck to the novelty
Every single post and comment "he" has made is composed entirely of the one word 'indeed'. If you had a conversation with him which was deleted, well there is no proof of that in his account history so it's not verifiable by anyone, including you. Given that, any person who behaves exactly like a bot account is essentially the same as a bot account. It's not novelty- it's spam. If this 'account' was posting CP or leftist garbage, would you be defending it? What if it was posting low effort content (which it is) in order to slide and hide legit content, would you defend that as well? Think about the reasons why you have for not calling it out and then apply it to the two questions I just asked you. Spam is spam but sometimes it's also subversion. I think this account has crossed over that line.
