As I always said, if she is willing to get an abortion that child is better off dead.
The child...or the mother? It's no different a moral quandrary than me kidnapping some guy and locking him in my basement. Whatever will I do if I can't Texas Chainsaw Massacre him to free up space and lessen my grocery bill?
Wait, there were a dozen different ways to not kidnap him in the first place and not force myself to choose between supporting a basement prisoner and becoming a murderer? That's too hard, reeeeee!
Missed the point completely.
I grasp what you were getting at (a potential mother who'd kill her child would make a shitty mother if she brought it to term). What I elaborated upon is that the type of mother who's that lacking in empathy (or morality...) is the type of person who should be legally regarded the same as a Texas Chainsaw Massacre-esque kidnapper.
To the extent that some abortions are triggered by the environment rather than the child, mother, or father, the child and mother could be saved and live productive lives but it takes work.
