I don't know what planet you all come from, but I've been coding since 1971, and every woman I've ever worked with has been technically and professionally great. The only problem occurs when they get married and have kids: A very few keep coding, and some go part-time, but most drop out. It's a hard decision, but the right thing to do. Granted, their husbands are often also coders, and make real good coin, so they can afford to focus on the family.
