This isn't the elephant in the room. The elephant in the room is that even if there were enough lithium, just running an (((EV))) pollutes more than an ICE car. Then add in the construction etc. It's not even slightly close that the (((EV))) pollutes far more.

The "proof" one way or the other somehow always seems to align with the bias of the interested party. I know this is a lost effort because you are not able to look at this objectively or change your mind in the slightest, but maybe someone else will.

There's plenty of lithium. Some reporter pushed out an argument where they misread pounds required as tons and as a result overestimated the amount needed by a factor of 2,000, and all this hysteria is a result of it.

I find it funny libtards don't realize gasoline, fuel and diesel are required to supply power to the generators that run the EV chargers. Also, coal mining (the proper kind) is a massive industry that is required by some countries to keep their economy growing.

We live in a globalist world full of leftists and multicultural nonsense utilizing open borders and lawlessness.

This phenomenon you speak of is mind control. It allows for paradoxes to occur that people don't notice. It allows people to instantly switch positions without realizing they used to hold the opposite position. It allows facts to be dismissed and it causes cognitive dissonance if you argue with facts that counter what they've been told to believe.

Yeah, I agree. Particular examples that come to mind are the "holocaust" and creation of Israel and the Cold War as well as coronaronadingdong.

Billions of people sick or injured, 10s of millions killed by the experimental poisons that should have legally been banned under the Nuremberg Code.

In the case of a real pandemic, you don't keep borders open as well as docks and airports. You lockdown a couple of weeks and it's done.

Since the coronaronadingdong was fake, they didn't do any of that but prolonged a fear and panic for over 3 years. None of it was necessary.

It should have been done and forgotten in March of 2020.

But....

They had elections to manipulate and big pharma had billions of dollars to make.

Great EV's are possible, but our institutions and rulers ignore what we know to be the truth.

  • Allow EV to compete on equal market footing with ICE and both will improve.
  • Stop designing cars by government and allow car makers to respond to what buyers want.

Sadly we live in a time and place ruled by tyrants who want what they want and force it upon us. Spending another person's money (auto maker's through government forced design parameters) on yet somebody else's behalf ("the planet...") rarely works, and in this case the end-user is not even considered in the cost/benefit analysis.

It does not matter whether the shortage of Lithium is real or not. The reason for the push towards EVs is so they can ban ICE cars. Something that they wouldn't be able to do (without a fight) if they just came out and banned them.

They are going to ban ICE cars, make it a crime to be in possession of one even, then we will "find out" that mass EV ownership is not viable. They will be rationed at first, then restricted to special permit holders. If you ever criticise the government.... no permit for you.

Now you're trapped in your designated zone, you have no transport, no means of moving elsewhere and even if you did, your digital ID won't let you purchase anything, even food, outside of your permitted zone.

Exactly. Despots never admit their plans to us because they are at war with us. Our problem is we fall prey to their lies and illusions because we want to believe. The tyrants put lipstick on a pig and we want to believe the illusion because we're not willing to call them out on their lies.

EVs are actually a parlor trick, an illusion. Oh, the idea is very cool and compelling. Musk implemented a very nice looking pig, but it's still a pig. Forget it really runs on fossil fuels. Forget the range is very limited. Forget you have to wait in long lines to charge them. Forget the replacement batteries are half the price of the car. Forget insurance companies total the car if the battery pack gets scratched. Forget the electric grid has no capacity to charge your vehicle all the time. Behold the beautiful virtue signaling you can do with your friends. Behold the tyrants can disable your vehicle with the push of a button if you try to drive out of your 15 minute city.

Listen to the tyrants, electric is green.
