Great EV's are possible, but our institutions and rulers ignore what we know to be the truth. - Allow EV to compete on equal market footing with ICE and both will improve. - Stop designing cars by government and allow car makers to respond to what buyers want. Sadly we live in a time and place ruled by tyrants who want what they want and force it upon us. Spending another person's money (auto maker's through government forced design parameters) on yet somebody else's behalf ("the planet...") rarely works, and in this case the end-user is not even considered in the cost/benefit analysis.
