Oohhh... I'm a professional hypnotist. I see a bunch of those.
What are your most successful cases? Do you do past life regression?
Hypnosis works really, really well with anything anxiety based. It may be one of the best treatments for depression.
It is also really effective with memory recall for law enforcement, but you have to be careful not to implant false memories and not lead the subject.
Pain management for chronic pain so people can get off drugs works really well also.
And of course, smoking cessation and weight loss are any hypnotists bread and butter.
I do clinical work and get a lot of my clients from Healthcare referrals, so I try to stay away from any of the metaphysical stuff.
How do you become a professional hypnotist?
Honestly, there is very little regulation, so you COULD become one just by advertising that you are one. Realistically, you go to a training class, get certified, and then get accredited through a guild that makes you keep up continuing education credits. Either way, you really only get good by seeing A LOT of clients.
But you don't have to get licensed through the state? You can take the course, get the cert, and just start advertising?
