The Nazi intelligence apparatus led by Reinhard Gehlen in Eastern Europe was subsumed by the OSS to create the CIA. Literally left intact with all their intelligence networks. They are German Nazis that have remained Nazis for 80 years. Their intelligence networks must have comprised people of all types from Eastern Europe.
