I like the complexity of it. It’s like the wine of liquors, imo, so much going on in each sip. That and brandy/cognac, but for different reasons. But for sure, it has to be quality; rail-level gin isn’t complex, it’s just rough

Brandy is my thing like a totty or just brandy. Whiskey, bourbon, also my thing and can drink gin just prefer not to.

I like pretty much all of it. If I had to rank them it’d probably be bourbon, cognac, gin, scotch, tequila (again quality), vodka, rum.
But even though gin is third on the list, I do love it. Especially with some blue cheese stuffed olives
