Tequila and pineapple juice is good for someone who doesn’t like booze much. Add some grenadine for a cool swirling effect and some flavor, which is called a tequila sunrise. I like the “ Irish ale” cocktail a lot . It’s whiskey, ginger beer (not ginger ale) and lime wedges. There and thousands of other drinks you can make. Maybe search for common cocktails to see what suits your taste. You can always scale back the liquor to make it more palatable if you don’t like the taste of booze
and I will be happy to help!
Do you like drinks where the liquor is front & center, or do you like it to be a backdrop to other flavors?
Thank you!
But ... you see ... I have no idea how to answer that. I'm really an infant here. :)
I'll try to answer with my limited experience.
For example: I enjoy OJ and Tequila. Maybe 2 parts OJ to 1 part Tequila. Over ice.
A 1-1 ratio on the above just tastes like turpentine, and I don't enjoy that.
So ... I guess I like the liquor to be a 'backdrop' ?
OK. That's good info.
Citrusy, bitter, sweet - what do you like to have as the overarching impression?
I've tired of the Margareta because it is now too sweet for me. Part of what is pushing me to branch out. But, taking small steps.
I like sour things, so yes. And, citrus is always a winner in my book.
Yeah. I guess is the only person who could help in this situation. I definitely can't think of any other users that might have experience in this area.
Sorry I forgot to tag you too
I'll never live down this humiliation.
