I found this article interesting, mostly because I love whisky. I was initially surprised I hadn't even heard of most of them. So I started looking them up and reading what people had to say. The best reviews were essentially "I'll enjoy the rest of the bottle but it won't be replaced." Most of my collection is like this: I enjoy the whisky, but not enough to buy more of it.

Mostly, these whiskies were cheap.

My goto cheap whisky is Ballentines. But with so many other whiskies out there, I don't keep it on my shelf.

While reading reviews of the whiskies, I ran across a mention of "Amrut". This is also an Indian blend. It may be worth trying that one.

Here, I'm throwing in this review in because of the prose (malt-review.com).

Another entertaining review (bestshotwhiskyreviews.com)

Enjoy.

India has a massive population, so I would assume most of the sales are domestic rather than exports.
