You cannot airgap a device within a device. If the device is on and the camera is on, it is not "air gapped."
Also, Kimdotcom has amde many, many promises about delivering information that he never kept.
Kimdotcom has no interest in providing you with anything helpful.
The FBI already has phones along these lines and they gave them to organized crime all over the world. "Only 15" were in the US, purportedly (BS), but... what they were doing, is they were using 5 Eyes partners to monitor the phones. They arrested 800 people around the globe after leaving these phones in their hands. No high level arrests, however. None.

Can you not imagine a sliding switch that breaks the electrical contact from camera and mic to the OS?
I can imagine it, but when you slide the switch to the on position, it's no longer air gapped.
You CAN have a camera that is air gapped, even while it is on, so the idea is deceiving.
The idea being, you turn it on only when you want to use it, then back off again so the NSA can't watch you jerk off to tranny porn.
