GMO is a broad category and you'd have to be an idiot to just blanket trust them all. Some genetic modifications are fine, some could be as unhealthy as the worst chemical additives.
There are also good reasons to oppose GMOs that have nothing to do with their edibility. For example, genetic pollution, patented gene sequences being used to suppress competition and various problems with terminator seeds.

Again, dumb. People can know that water fluoridation is useless and/or harmful without being afraid to drink water. There is really no reason to stop drinking fluoridated water once you've been doing it for years already. That doesn't mean we should keep doing it to future generations and it doesn't change the fact that the practice is based on pseudoscience.

Individually they might. But someone with healthy teeth is still worth a lot of money to the dental industry as a whole because of toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash etc. Your dentist probably gets a kickback from whatever brand he's recommending. There's no equivalent for the rest of the medical meat grinder. To them a healthy person is worthless.
If you earn more per hour than the mechanic, it will possibly be more cost-efficient to let him do it.
I didn't know dentist could earn this much money by recommending stuff. I thought they only ask a small handful of them, like "7 out of 10 dentists recommend...". Who knows when they even asked those 10 dentists, could've been back in 1970 for all I know.
Anyway If I were a dentist I wouldn't even bother fixing people's teeth. I'd simply recommend shit and chill at home.
