Next time I need to re-season my pans, I think I'll light up the grill. Get that heat up a little more, without setting off the stupid fucking smoke alarm.
The best advice I could give, is too not use olive oil, like a lot of people say. Use something with a higher smoke-point. I have recently tried grapeseed oil, & it works pretty well.
