My problem is that they have turned into the only viable option.

Pretty much all decent phones these days have non-user-replaceable batteries.

I understand your objection..and agree that non-replaceable batteries in electrical devices are idiotic.

But, you don't have to buy one.

I wish they gave us an option at least to have a top-class device (2160p@60fps video recording + >20W fast charging) with replaceable battery.

What are devices you'd recommend?
